About Amanda

I quit my job in public relations, grabbed a yoga mat, and built the life and business of my dreams. A decade later, I coach yoga entrepreneurs on how to do the same.

In 2009, I walked away from what I thought at the time was my dream job; a position within a top-tier PR firm, ready to learn everything I could so I could build my own one day. But back then the industry was different, and I wasn't happy. I'd often find myself crying at my desk at the end of the day knowing I had to leave and do something else or I'd end up sick.

Over the next few years, as I transitioned into the fitness world as a personal trainer, and then as a yoga teacher, I found myself just as overworked and stressed. After battling hormonal imbalances, fertility issues, cancer and chronic inflammation, I made a promise to myself that I had to find another way. There had to be a way to do what I loved, teaching yoga and wellness practices, without feeling exhausted running around from client to client, and studio to studio. I wanted to create the wealth I desired to travel and do the things I loved without sacrificing my health.

I began working with coaches and mentors, and I was able to figure out some powerful frameworks, strategies that allowed me to flow in my creative feminine healing energy.

My business took off, my day-to-day became easier and I had so much freedom to do what brought me pleasure while growing and scaling my business to six figures.

Now, I am passionate about helping other yoga teachers, personal trainers, and health/wellness coaches do the same.

I founded Yoga Biz Academy to help yoga teachers build an aligned, fulfilling and profitable business model in order to achieve financial abundance and live life on their terms. Through my one-on-one strategy sessions, digital courses and programs, or all of the free content I share on the podcast and YouTube, my intention is to provide insights and tools to help yoga teachers create their unique roadmap in order to reach their goals and build their dream lives.
